Enter the Vortex

October 2016

Feel yourself transported to an alternate universe, a space between realms, where colors and patterns shift and collide to activate your perception.

Enter the Vortex, is KiiK Create’s site-specific immersive mural installation at C787 Studios. This exhibition is a continuation of their exploration of space through color. It is the latest in their series of Portal murals that use geometry and vivid colors to generate captivating visual designs meant to signify higher vibrational energies. Enter the Vortex, allows the viewer to be transported to KiiK Create’s alternate reality where the power of color and pattern can be seen and felt as a visceral physical force. They have transformed the gallery into a mural space that completely envelopes the viewer. A series of large canvases that are hung inside the mural are layered with overlapping biomorphic abstractions and patterns in vivid contrasting colors, further depicting the idea of converging dimensions of reality or entangled parallel worlds.
