Isla de Culebra, Puerto Rico
We were invited to travel to the island of Culebra, off the east coast of Puerto Rico, to participate in Culebra Es Ley, a public art festival built on the success of Santurce Es Ley. We were challenged with painting this massive 135 ft. x 25 ft. wall. This building is an old pharmaceutical factory that has been abandoned for many years. In six days, we transformed the building into a, “Staircase to Infinity”, which is the title of the mural. This mural is about cycles, space, and transformation through time. You can see a short video of the festival on our blog HERE.
